Significant difference was observed in α(1)-AG as well as Fbg between stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ, in Ch-Ease between stage Ⅱ and Ⅲ and in LDH between stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ. In inoperable cases who did not obtain any clinical improvement during chemotherapy, significant positive correlation was observed between their life spans and α(1)-AG as well as Fbg measured prior to chemtherapy, and as for Ch-Ease negative correlation was observed. More close correlation was obtained between life spans and biological status which was set up following their laboratory data as stated above. Therefore, it seems that biological status are reliable index for estimating life spans of inoperable cases. en-copyright= kn-copyright= en-aut-name=KimuraIkuro en-aut-sei=Kimura en-aut-mei=Ikuro kn-aut-name=本村郁郎 kn-aut-sei=本村 kn-aut-mei=郁郎 aut-affil-num=1 ORCID= en-aut-name=OnoshiTaisuke en-aut-sei=Onoshi en-aut-mei=Taisuke kn-aut-name=大熨泰亮 kn-aut-sei=大熨 kn-aut-mei=泰亮 aut-affil-num=2 ORCID= en-aut-name=TakanoJunko en-aut-sei=Takano en-aut-mei=Junko kn-aut-name=高野純行 kn-aut-sei=高野 kn-aut-mei=純行 aut-affil-num=3 ORCID= en-aut-name=OsawaHiroshi en-aut-sei=Osawa en-aut-mei=Hiroshi kn-aut-name=大沢汎 kn-aut-sei=大沢 kn-aut-mei=汎 aut-affil-num=4 ORCID= en-aut-name=YasuharaShozo en-aut-sei=Yasuhara en-aut-mei=Shozo kn-aut-name=安原尚蔵 kn-aut-sei=安原 kn-aut-mei=尚蔵 aut-affil-num=5 ORCID= en-aut-name=WatanabeTatsuo en-aut-sei=Watanabe en-aut-mei=Tatsuo kn-aut-name=渡部達夫 kn-aut-sei=渡部 kn-aut-mei=達夫 aut-affil-num=6 ORCID= en-aut-name=SugiyamaMotoharu en-aut-sei=Sugiyama en-aut-mei=Motoharu kn-aut-name=杉山元治 kn-aut-sei=杉山 kn-aut-mei=元治 aut-affil-num=7 ORCID= en-aut-name=HirakiKiyoshi en-aut-sei=Hiraki en-aut-mei=Kiyoshi kn-aut-name=平木潔 kn-aut-sei=平木 kn-aut-mei=潔 aut-affil-num=8 ORCID= affil-num=1 en-affil= kn-affil=岡山大学平木内科 affil-num=2 en-affil= kn-affil=岡山大学平木内科 affil-num=3 en-affil= kn-affil=岡山大学平木内科 affil-num=4 en-affil= kn-affil=岡山大学平木内科 affil-num=5 en-affil= kn-affil=岡山大学平木内科 affil-num=6 en-affil= kn-affil=岡山大学平木内科 affil-num=7 en-affil= kn-affil=岡山大学平木内科 affil-num=8 en-affil= kn-affil=岡山大学平木内科 END start-ver=1.4 cd-journal=joma no-vol=89 cd-vols= no-issue=3-4 article-no= start-page=375 end-page=383 dt-received= dt-revised= dt-accepted= dt-pub-year=1977 dt-pub=19770430 dt-online= en-article= kn-article= en-subject= kn-subject= en-title=Immunological studies of the streptococcal preparation, OK-432, on neoplasm Part I. Its results are described below: 1) The survival rate of the ICR mice pretreated i.p. with OK-432 was about twice as high as in the nontreated group at 40 days after i.v. inoculation of Ehrlich carcinoma. 2) The survival rate of the C3H mice pretreated i.p. with OK-432 was more prolonged than the rate of nontreated group and post-treated group with OK-432 at 50 days after i.p. inoculation of methylcholanthrene-induced sarcoma. 3) The survival rate of the ICR mice pretreated s.c. with OK-432 was slightly prolonged than the rate of nontreated group at 40 days after i.p. inoculation of Ehrlich carcinoma. 4) The appearance of methylcholanthrene-induced sarcoma of the C3H mice pretreated i.p. with OK-432 was significantly delayed, compared with the nontreated group and the posttreated group at 80 days after injection s.c. with methylcholanthrene. The results stated above lead to the conclusion that OK-432 has a host-mediated antitumor action. en-copyright= kn-copyright= en-aut-name=YasuharaShozo en-aut-sei=Yasuhara en-aut-mei=Shozo kn-aut-name=安原尚蔵 kn-aut-sei=安原 kn-aut-mei=尚蔵 aut-affil-num=1 ORCID= affil-num=1 en-affil= kn-affil=岡山大学医学部第2内科 END
