岡山医学会 Acta Medica Okayama 0030-1558 66 12 1954 流行性肝炎患者の遠隔成績について 第1報 赤磐地区に於ける第一回検診成績 2379 2384 EN Kiyowo Kosaka Keitaro Seto Kaichi Morimoto Shigemi Ogino Hideo Nagashima Nobuhiro Shimada Tsuneo Ioriya Masao Iwahara Takashi Amako Masuo Hino Masamitsu Kawaguchi Tatsuo Ishida Re-examining 153 cases of infectious hepatitis patients in Akaiwa area, Okayama Prefecture, the result was that some cases seemed to have distinctly shifted to chronic hepatitis, along with cases of latent hepatitis without conscious symptoms, to the extent of about 1/8 of total cases; moreover, there were pretty many who should be taken care of: where, there were few cases of perfect recovery. Besides, 2 cases were recognized which shifted tohepatic cirrhosis, one of which could be given testimony owing to autopsy. The chronic turn like this was of course seen in serious cases, but even in slightly-affected cases, if thorough treatment was out of use (esp., quiet repose); so that, in its treatment, utmost care should be taken; besides, as to the decision of recovery, one should take resort to every means to ensure it. 岡山医学会 Acta Medica Okayama 0030-1558 71 6-1 1959 流行性肝炎の遠隔成績 第3報 和気郡香登町の流行について 2977 2980 EN Kiyowo Kosaka Keitaro Seto Hideo Nagashima Tsutomu Hosokawa Shigemi Ogino Masao Iwahara Takashi Amako Tsuneo Yoriya Tadayoshi Maesako Yoshio Nakadoi Masamitsu Kawaguchi Yoshio Takeda Tatsuo Ishida The complete examination was done on the 81 cases, passed for 1 year after the release of treatment under the diagnosis of recovery or after the suspension of treatment at Kagato-Cho, Wake-Gun, Okayama in where there were the prevalence of slight abortive form of epidemic hepatitis. 1. The cases remaining of subjective symptom were 33 (40.7%) and their complaints were mainly same to those on the course of disease. 2. Hepatomegaly in 35 cases (43.2%) and splenomegaly in 12 cases (14.8%) were observed. 3. The cases showing a positive liver function test were 8.6-18.5% and the cases showing only a slight increasion of serum bilirubin were 5 (6.2%). 4. Since the above results, the cases required of treatment were 21 (25.9%), the cases required of care 4 (3.7%). On the other hand, the cases having only subjective symptom without any evidences of liver demage were 20 (24.7%) on the addition of the above cases. 5. The concept, the recovery of epicemic hepatitis was difficult, was supported with the above results in the epidemic area. 6 In this epidemic district, the unrecovered cases were manily observed on female, especially female in the third decade. The cases remaining of subjective symptom were 50 (34.9%) and their complaints were mainly same to those on the course of disease. 2. Hepatomegaly iu 30 cases (20.9%) and splenomegaly in 10 cases (7.0%) were observed. 3. The cases showing a postive liver function test were 5.6-30.9%, and the cases showing only a slight increasion of serum bilirubin were and 5 (3.5%). 4. Since the above results, the cases required of treatment were 22 (15.4%), the cases required of care were 42 (29.3%). On the other hand, the cases having only subjective symptom without any evidences of liver damage were 36 (25.2%) on the addition of the above cases. 5. In this epidemic district, the unrecovered cases were mainly observed on female, especially female in the third decade. 6. It was keenly felt, that the recovery of epidemic hepatitis was very difficult, since the results of our observations in the epidemic area.
